Kimball Curriculum 2004-2022 In process...

Kimball Curriculum

2004-2022

Our school grew and changed over the years.  It began with the Principle Approach and Five in a Row. Slowly, I added elements from Charlotte Mason, Veritas Press, Youth With A Mission, and other minor publishers where I found a particular item that I loved.  Over time I found that Charlotte Mason's philosophy (CM inspired curriculum found free at amblesideonline.org ) was most similar to my own, although I did add more overt Christian materials to it and more of a missions emphasis.  In highschool we leaned heavily on christian co ops.  As you peruse the links, notice the grades flow into one another, so if  you have a first grader, you may want to check out links for preschool and second grade.

Old School MacGuffey readers for daily reading lessons.  I wish I did not have the newer revised, because I have learned since that as lovely as these were and better than modern readers, they had actually already stripped them of their religious content.  The 1830's and 1850 versions are MUCH BETTER!!!!

*Notice the lesson is "Control Your Temper," this reader is packed with spiritual encouragment.
