Pterosaurs & Dragon stories

I have been exploring the idea of pterosaurs living with humans.  It began with a study of King Arthur, Beowulf and medieval dragon stories...then furthered by our study of extinct flying creatures such as the pterosaurs.  Today I found this interesting edition--the climate and temperature of the Middle Ages--that seems to open the possibility of Europe sustaining temperatures conducive to reptiles:

The Medieval Warm Period (MWP), Medieval Climate Optimum, or Medieval Climatic Anomaly was a time of warm climate in the North Atlantic region that may also have been related to other climate events around the world during that time, including in China[1] and other countries,[2][3][3][4][5][6][7] lasting from about AD 950 to 1250.[8] It was followed by a cooler period in the North Atlantic termed the Little Ice Age. Some refer to the event as the Medieval Climatic Anomaly as this term emphasizes that effects other than temperature were important.[9][10]
Evidence of dragon stories in English literature are found in the art of 1400...Donatello's "St George and the Dragon"

The size and stature of the pterosaur remind us of these dragon stories.

This photo is a gliding reptile , Draco, you could find today...its extremely small compared to the Pterosaur, but is a similar creature.  We could imagine it having a cousin on a grand scale.

"The burden of the beasts of the Negev (desert).  Into the land of trouble and anguish, from where come the young and old lion, the viper and FIERY FLYING SERPENT . . . "  Isaiah 30:6
