Like Golom held the ring, "MY PRECIOUS!!!!, I hold earthly love. I learned this lesson before. He taught me while waiting for a husband, waiting for Chad. It's the lesson he teaches me now. I rely on Chad's love. But his affection--will never be enough. It's too variable, too shifting and can altogether disappear at times. I need a constant love that sees my heart in the midst of my repeated failure. I want a heart that always draws me in and lets me in...and pours constantly into me.
This love is God's love.
He reminds me to come back to Him.
