Just found out this:
When USE does a field investigation, they usually do it for several cases at a time that represent the same region or several regions. This is why they cannot give you a timeline as to when it will be done. Many have waited more than eight weeks from notice to completion.

Becky Carignan Carlsen It took our field investigation almost 2 months to happen. For us it was a good thing. We went from getting sent to Nairobi, to them canceling that and clearing us instead. I hated the long wait, but it is true they seemed to be waiting for several kids to be from the same region to do the investigation on all of them together.
That means for us, to complete the field investigation may take until FEb. 28.

confirmed that the field investigation is scheduled for no sooner than february.
