Feel so challenged by Spurgeon's devo for 8/30....I read ahead when I saw his text was "Wait on the Lord" Ps 27:14.
He says to wait in prayer, wait in faith and wait in quiet patience. Ok, trying to do that ...here's the one that jabbed my soul, "Wait in quiet patience, not rebelling because you are under affliction, but blessing your God for it."
That's a challenge but I am willing today to speak the blessing and trust my heart will come along fully on his path. Not my will, Lord, but yours be done. You are working good for us right now. Thank you.
