Tommy asked tonight if he could have some more "zam"? Guess what he really wanted?
This weekend, I enjoyed a beautiful getaway with Chad for our 13th anniversary. We explored Indiana East of Valpo (which amazingly I had never seen!). We did Amish, Mennonite, Dunkard (?) world and both were deeply impacted by their simplicity and their "up yours" to modern society. What I loved the most was how close together the homesteads sat along the road--house, barn, stables; house, barn, stables. The regulated color was unusual too...reminded me of Germany. It really was beautiful and disturbing at the same time.
